At the recent GPA Global Summit in Salvador, Brazil, over 50 members from around the world gathered in as guests of host member Absolut, for three days of collaboration and planning for 2018. The theme and focus of the meeting was Standardization, one of the three pillars of the GPA customer value philosophy, which also encompasses Scale and Simplicity.

In advance of the Members conference, Asnet CEO Eric Greenop travelled to Salvador to participate in the two day GPA Board Meeting and to map out Alliance’s 2018 pathways in order to achieve the GPA’s stated ambitious 2020 vision.

At the Summit, GPA members met to discuss and address the challenges of delivering AV services to global corporate customers, particularly how the GPA helps customers and vendor partners to understand the advantages and importance of Standardization. Members engaged in multiple workshop sessions with vendor partners in analysis of global standards, room designs and methodologies to deliver exceptional customer experiences on a global scale.
