VideoNet™ Connect
When you don’t require us to supply the High Definition VC systems, we will manage your existing systems and support your use of the Polycom RMX High Definition bridge, all for a single monthly fee.
What you get for your single monthly fee
The Bridge is a linking device, allowing more than two VC systems to be in the same call at once and allowing systems using a mix of networks to ‘join’ in the same meeting, by acting as a gateway. By using asnet Technologies’ RMX bridging you can avoid capital expenditure and have access to enterprise sized, highly featured infrastructure without the risk of ownership.
This High Definition RMX bridge provides you ‘on demand, all you can eat’ videoconferencing bridging, using your own connectivity to the bridge. It provides access to the bridging and gateway service, Basic Help Desk, Video On Line, and other detailed services as:
- Managed service during the business day, 8.30-5pm.
After hours at adhoc support is available as an optional cost - Infrastructure management including a gatekeeper service and supplied address books
- First line support via an 0800 number
- Video on Line test sites
- Monitoring and Fault detection within SLA of contract
- Remote visibility of all endpoints – we can ‘see’ your systems for management purposes
- Provision of network wide Global Address Book or as customised
- Multipoint (many site) Booking and Scheduling
- Access to ISDN calls without the need to install costly lines at your location
- Simplified dialling for making ISDN calls
IP sites can either simply place ‘1’ or add a prefix in the dialing string before the full ISDN number of the site they are calling. This invokes the gateway automatically and allows the ISDN call to proceed. Billing for gateway and ISDN will appear in the monthly statement. - Access to audio calls or mix of audio and video calls
