The Polycom CMA 4000/5000 provisions fully managed endpoints
with directory services, call capabilities and presence notifications.
The CMA uses IT standards based protocols such as .XML for provisioning,
.XMPP for presence, and LDAP/H.350 for directory services. The user
experience is greatly improved no longer requiring the need to dial
by ISDN, IP, or extension. Users also no longer need to select a
call speed due to the central provisioning.

The Polycom ® CMA 4000/5000 also offers increased video service
reliability with real-time conference management, plus diagnostics,
monitoring, notification and reporting.
The Polycom® CMA™ Desktop, an included component of the
CMA 4000/5000 allows IT administrators to easily deploy visual communications
to their entire organisation via a simple MSI install. The CMA Desktop
is capable of receiving HD Audio, Video and Content. The CMA Desktop
is fully provisioned and enabled by the CMA 4000/5000 with call
capabilities such as call speed, directory services, presence of
other CMA Desktops up through telepresence systems.
